The Endeavour Story
Endeavour Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization established in 75 years ago with the stern belief that every person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and belong.
In 1951, people with intellectual disabilities had few rights, limited choices and extremely limited support. A small group of QLD parents decided to make a change. They wanted to create a future where their children’s potential was not just recognised but celebrated.
What started as a makeshift school on the verandah of a Brisbane home is now one of the country's largest disability service providers and Australia's biggest employer of people with intellectual disability.
Our Impact
Funds raised through the Great Endeavour Ball Banquet directly support people with intellectual disabilities. These donations help us provide support networks for clients to find a job, live independently, build skills and confidence, and connect with the community. Over the years, our donations from the Great Endeavour Rally have contributed to an immense number of opportunities for the Endeavour clients like;
